Ranbir
Kapoor
and
Deepika
Padukone's
Tamasha,
received
heat
from
Censor
Board
to
chop
off
a
long
kissing
scene
between
Ranbir
and
Deepika,
along
with
a
few
more
witty
one-liners
and
dialogues
in
the
movie.
Tamasha
star,
Ranbir
Kapoor,
has
finally
opened
up
about
the
Censor
Board
demanding
cuts
in
the
movie,
the
actor,
wants
to
brush
off
the
issue
and
prefers
to
speak
carefully.
Ranbir,
was
quoted
as
saying,
"I
don't
think
it
is
about
the
kissing.
That
is
again
a
wrong
report,
as
the
chunks
that
were
edited,
was
only
for
certain
language
that
was
used
in
the
film.
Imtiaz's
movies
are
not
to
titillate
the
audience.
The
issue
was
something
else."
Ranbir
Kapoor
and
Deepika
Padukone's
kissing
scene
in
Tamasha,
is
much
more
longer
and
intense
than
that
of,
Aamir
Khan
and
Karishma
Kapoor's
kissing
scene
in
Raja
Hindustani.
Tamasha,
also
has
many
cheesy
one-liners
such
as,
"Apna
Haath
Jagannath!" and
"Din
mein
sister
raat
mein
bistar",
along
with
a
few
more
below
the
belt
dialogues.
This
has
not
gone
down
well
with
the
Censor
Board
and
has
demanded
the
film-makers
to
chop
off
the
scenes.
Ranbir
Kapoor,
feels
that
Censor
Board
has
acted
a
bit
radical
over
the
issue,
the
actor
was
quoted
as
saying,
"But
coming
to
censorship,
I
think
they
are
being
a
bit
radical
and
strict
with
things.
So
creatively,
yes,
we
do
understand
the
responsibility
they
have
with
the
messages
and
social
values
that
a
film
should
have
because
cinema
is
an
art.
But
having
said
that,
there
is
some
creativity
that
is
hampered,
as
freedom
is
curbed
by
many
things."
The
Tamasha
actor,
Ranbir
Kapor,
further
commented,
"Couple
of
people
sit
together
and
decide
what
should
be
cut
and
what
shouldn't
be.
It's
an
ongoing
debate
and
I
don't
know
who
is
right
and
who
is
wrong.
But
as
far
as
Tamasha
is
concerned,
then
there
were
just
a
few
abusive
lines
like
saala
and
words
like
that
which
they
wanted
to
censor."
Deepika-Ranbir
Ranbir
Kapoor
and
Deepika
Padukone's
kissing
scene
in
Tamasha
has
not
gone
down
well
with
the
Censor
Board
and
has
demanded
the
film-makers
to
chop
off
the
scene.
U/A
Certificate
Unfortunately,
film-makers
of
Tamasha
would
cut
off
the
kissing
scene
between
Ranbir
Kapoor
and
Deepika
Padukone,
and
Censor
Board
has
issued
a
U/A
certificate
to
the
movie
Tamasha
For
A
Longer
Time
The
kissing
scene
between
Ranbir
Kapoor
and
Deepika
Padukone
is
reported
to
be
much
more
longer
than
Aamir
Khan
and
Karishma
Kapoor's
kissing
scene
in
Raja
Hindustani.
Kisses
Ranbir
and
Deepika's
kissing
scene
comes
at
a
crucial
point
in
the
movie
and
both
the
actors
did
the
role
professionally.
However,
Censor
Board
wants
the
scene
to
be
removed.

Speaking
Well
Tamasha
actor,
Ranbir
Kapoor,
opened
up
on
the
Censor
Board
issue,
buty
spoke
very
cautiously,
as
the
actor
is
known
for
speaking
and
choosing
the
right
set
of
words.
Cheesy
One-liners
Tamasha
has
adult
themed
one-liners
such
as
"Apna
Haath
Jagannath!"
and
"Din
mein
sister
raat
mein
bistar"
and
a
few
more
dialogues
that
are
below
the
belt.
