Salman Khan Hit and Run: Kamaal Khan's GF Narrates His Mysterious Disappearance

Salman Khan's hit and run case has witnessed several twists and turns, until the superstar was sentenced to five years of jail; only to get bail soon the verdict was made.

Several witnesses in the hit and run case appeared before the court during the proceedings, one of whom was Salman's close friend Kamaal Khan who is currently missing.

Kamaal Khan was one of the prime witnesses in the case as he was sitting inside the car during the accident. As a matter of fact, Kamaal Khan initially said that Salman was driving the car but the singer mysteriously went missing after recording the statement.

While, Kamaal Khan's disappearance is still a mystery, the singer's then girlfriend, Shilpi Sharma narrated how he used to be disturbed by the hit and run case until he suddenly went missing.

In an interview with a leading publication, Shilpi said, "He used to be disturbed about the case. He would get agitated if I mentioned the hit and run case, so I never probed. I got to know him two years after the incident and the unspoken rule was that we would never talk of it.

She continued, "We were both starting our acting careers together and instantly connected. He was quite charming and I soon fell madly in love. It wasn't a fairy-tale romance. The ghost of the case loomed large over our relationship but we managed. We fought often but there was an attempt to maintain stability."

And then comes the strange part as she said, "But one day in 2008, I woke up to find that Kamaal was gone. I was shocked. It took me days, even months, to come to terms with the fact. I haven't been in a relationship since though my parents now insist that I should get married. Kamaal's sudden disappearance caused me great embarrassment since I would have given up film offers to be with him."

"May be he had reasons. In a weird way, it gave me closure but also shattered my faith in men and relationships. His disappearance is as big a mystery to me as it is to anyone else. I hope he is living a happy life. I am trying to," shilpi concluded.

Well, Kamaal's disappearance is really sad and strange and we hope that the singer makes a comeback some day. Salman Khan is currently out on bail and the next hearing is likely to be on June 15th.
