Shahid-Alia Starrer Shaandaar To Release This Dussehra

Amazing news for you folks! To make this Dussehra more special, Shahid-Alia starrer Shaandaar will release.

Filmmaker Karan Johar revealed that Shaandaar starring Shahid Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, is all set to release on this Dussehra, September 22. Karan Johar took to micro-blogging site to make the grand announcement.

"#SHAANDAARonDUSSEHRA..will release on the 22nd of October, 2015..@shahidkapoor@aliaa08@foxstarhindi@DharmaMovies @FuhSePhantom." tweeted Karan Johar.

The movie has been creating a buzz since the day Alia posted a picture with Shahid Kapoor on the social site. Shaandaar is India's first destination wedding film where both Shahid and Alia suffer from insomnia and it is their quirkiness that gets them bonding.

Alia, who ventured into tinsel town with Karan's directorial Student Of The Year, too seem excited and tweeted " #SHAANDAARonDUSSEHRA.. 22nd October 2015 !!!! And it's trendinggggggg"

Currently, Shahid is busy with his marriage ceremony preparations and Shaandaar actress is on rest for two weeks as she injured her right shoulder while shooting in Coonoor for Kapoor and Sons.

The never-seen-before duo, Alia and Shahid is also working together for Abhishek Chaubey's Udta Punjab, which also stars Kareena Kapoor and Diljit Dosanjh in the lead roles.

Well, we just can't wait enough for September, 22 to watch this amazing pair together on silver screen. The romantic film is being directed by Vikash Bahl of Queen fame, and it's a co-production venture of Karan's Dharma Productions and Phantom films.
