It seems that Shahrukh Khan and Kajol's mesmerising song 'Gerua' from their upcoming release Dilwale has made film-maker, Karan Johar nostalgic. The 43-year-old filmmaker recently posted a very cute message for Shahrukh Khan and Farah Khan on Twitter. After reading the message, SRK replied back by calling them wannabe actors.
"Seeing the stunning and exotically executed #gerua brought back so many memories!! @TheFarahKhan @iamsrk," Karan tweeted along with an on location picture of 'Sooraj Hua Muddham'.

In reply to Karan Johar's tweet, Shahrukh Khan wrote, "You two were even then more keen to be in front of the camera rather than behind it. Such wannabe actors you both are!!"
Farah Khan too joined the conversation and wrote, ''As v tweet about #Gerua n get nostalgic bout SurajhuamaddhAm, what a coincidence tht I'm in Egypt again after 15 yrs.''
We all know that Karan Johar is very attached to Shahrukh Khan, Talking about SRK, Karan had once told a leading daily, ''Some relationships in my life will always be special. There is so much written about Shahrukh and me and I hate it when I have to justify my relationship with him. Adi and Shahrukh will always be weaknesses in my life because somewhere, I attribute my career to them and that is something I can never forget.''
Karan Johar further added, ''I hate it when a mike is thrust into my face and I am questioned about anything to do with Shahrukh. For me, he is beyond family, no matter where he is. Normally, when you text him, he calls you back. But once he told me, 'Karan, if you ever really need to reach me, I will pick up your phone.'
Karan Johar loved Shahrukh Khan and Kajol's new song 'Gerua' from the movie Dilwale. The famous director praised the song on the microblogging site Twitter and wrote that the song has brought back many memories.
Shahrukh Khan and Kajol's romantic number was launched on Wednesday evening (18 November) with much fanfare at the Maratha Mandir cinema hall, Mumbai. Rumour has it that 'Gerua' is the highest-budget song ever!
'Gerua' is written by Amitabh Battacharya and has been composed by Pritam. Arijit Singh and Antara Mitra have lent their beautiful voices to Shahrukh Khan and Kajol for this romantic number.
Dilwale also stars Varun Dhawan, Kriti Sanon, Varun Sharma, Johnny Lever, Kabir Bedi, Vinod Khanna and Sanjay Mishra. Directed by Rohit Shetty, the movie is slated to hit the theatres on December 18.
