PIX: Shamitabh Cast Rocks Filmfare January Cover

Shamitabh cast Amitabh Bachchan, Dhanush and Akshara Haasan who walked away with applause when the official trailer of the movie released are rocking the Filmfare magazine cover this month.

This is first time Akshara Haasan has featured on the cover of any magazine and the actress looks stunning dressed in a sleek gown paired with some gold earrings.

Shamitabh is scripted and directed by R. Balki and is jointly produced by Sunil Lulla, Balki, Rakesh Jhunjhunwala, R. K. Damani, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, Sunil Manchanda and Dhanush under their respective production banners.

Ilaiyaraaja has composed some breathtaking soundtracks for the movie and even the background score while the cinematographer of Shamitabh is P. C. Sreeram.

Just a few days we reported how Rekha is making a special appearance in the movie, turns out not just Rekha even Abhishek Bachchan will make guest appearance in the movie.

Abhishek and Amitabh had last appeared together on-screen in Paa which was also directed bu R.Balki. The director wanted Abhishek in the film but there was no specific role for the actor in the film. It was only later that Abhishek's part was added to the film.
