Social
Media
gets
outraged
for
every
damn
thing
at
the
drop
of
a
hat,
shares
and
comments
gets
all
over
the
place
and
news
channels
acts
like
the
Police
delivering
instant
justice
without
verification.
Social
media
users
without
any
background
check,
labels
the
accused
as
culprit
on
the
spot
and
gets
a
temporary
high
by
defaming
the
person.
Sonakshi
Sinha,
too
was
caught
in
this
wave
of
arguments
of
Jasleen
Kaur,
who
claimed
a
man
on
a
bike
eve
teased
her
on
the
streets
and
challenged
her
to
file
a
complaint.
She
then
shared
it
on
social
media
platforms
and
the
post
went
viral.
In
support
of
the
girl,
Sonakshi
tweeted,
"Well
done
Jasleen!
Hope
this
serves
as
a
warning
to
all
the
creeps
and
encouragement
to
every
girl
to
take
action!"
It
recently
came
to
light
that
Jasleen
Kaur,
made
a
mountain
of
a
molehill.
An
eye
witness
of
the
incident
informed
the
media
and
the
Police
that
the
girl
had
a
little
argument
with
the
biker
for
jumping
the
signal.
The
eye
witness
claims
that
it
was
Jasleen,
who
started
abusing
the
biker
and
the
man
simply
asked
her
to
mind
her
own
business.
That's
when
Jasleen,
clicked
a
picture
of
him
and
ened
up
sharing
it
on
social
media.
After
further
details
of
the
incident
came
to
light,
Sonakshi
Sinha,
took
to
her
Twitter
account
and
apologised
for
wrongly
supporting
Jasleen
Kaur,
without
any
verification
on
the
issue.
She
tweeted
as,
"Being
a
girl,
gave
the
benefit
of
doubt
to
Jasleen,
like
many
others!
And
like
many
others
am
embarrassed
n
let
down!
Apologies
to
the
guy."
Obviously,
Sonakshi's
fans
were
very
supportive
of
her
for
admitting
mistakes
and
apologising
on
social
media
as
nobody
knew
the
truth.
To
this
Sonakshi
replied
on
Twitter
as,
"Admitting
a
mistake
and
apologizing
doesn't
make
anyone
a
smaller
person...thats
what
I've
been
taught!"
Cheers
to
the
actress
for
realizing
that
jumping
the
gun
on
social
media
is
not
the
right
thing
to
do.
