Though the Government of India, has not officially released a statement that Aamir Khan is removed from being the brand ambassador of Incredible India, a tweet from Amit Malviya, is doing the rounds that Aamir Khan, is not a part of Incredible India anymore.
Amit Malviya, is BJP's IT & Digital Communication in-charge and he tweets as,
"Aamir Khan removed as brand ambassador of Incredible #India."
Mixed responses are seen online about the gesture, as some people support the outster, and the others are questioning the freedom of speech being hampered in the country.

Aamir Khan, landed in trouble for a statement about intolerance in the country. Though he clearly mentioned, it was his wife Kiran Rao, who felt unsafe in the country for their children, the issue took a different turn as political parties targetted Aamir Khan.
