My Parents Wanted Me To Be An Engineer: Aamir Khan
Aamir Khan revealed that his parents wanted him to be a doctor, engineer or a chartered accountant & didn't wish that he'd join the Bollywood film industry.
Aamir Khan comes from a filmy background as his father Tahir Hussain was a film director and he's also the nephew of film-maker Nasir Hussain. However, Aamir Khan just revealed that despite being from a filmy family, his parents never wished him to join the film industry at all and wanted him to have a stable job instead.
Aamir Khan revealed, "One minute you are up there, one minute you are not. They wanted me to go into a profession that is more stable like that of an engineer, doctor or charted accountant."
