Aishwarya On Being Criticised For Her Role In ADHM

When Aishwarya was asked, does it bother her that some dissed her role for playing a cougar in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, she rather gave an interesting reply and told, "If you see the response online to trailers (for the movie wasn't released at the time of writing), you'll see most responded to my character Saba, with excitement, love and positivity. She's strong and radiates individuality...so the response has been gratifying."

Here's Why She Did ADHM

In the same interview, she also opened about the real reason why she gave her nod to ADHM. She told, "The truth is Karan is a friend. He asked I said a yes, as I liked the role. I'd always meant to work with Karan; there were many missed opportunities, and I didn't want this to be one again. The film was an act of friendship."
