Sriram
Raghavan,
the
director
of
Badlapur,
is
all
set
to
direct
a
thriller,
and
has
decided
to
rope
in
Akshay
Kumar
and
Alia
Bhatt
in
the
lead
roles.
The
movie,
would
be
based
on
a
novel
written
by
Sheeja
Jose
titled,
'Gone
With
The
Bullet'.
The
bubbly
young
actress,
Alia
Bhatt,
would
be
seen
romancing
older
men
on-screen
in
2016.
First,
she
was
casted
alongside
Shahrukh
Khan
in
Gauri
Shinde's
next,
and
now
she
might
bag
the
role
opposite
Akshay
Kumar
for
Sriram's
next.
Author
Sheeja
Jose,
spoke
to
a
leading
daily
and
was
quoted
as
saying,
"It
(the
script)
took
me
two
years
to
complete,
and
when
things
didn't
fall
in
place
with
Sujoy,
I
turned
the
script
into
a
book.
The
story
follows
an
18-year-old
girl
who
falls
in
love
with
a
40-something
assassin."
Sheeja
further
commented,
"I
think
Sriram
will
agree
that
Akshay
Kumar
would
be
perfect
as
the
brooding,
dark
assassin
and
Alia
Bhatt
as
the
new-age
girl
in
love.
It's
a
hatke
romance
against
the
backdrop
of
bulletts."
