Arjun
Rampal's
last
film
Rock
On
2
failed
to
create
its
magic
at
the
box
office
and
was
heavily
panned
by
the
critics.
Currently,
the
actor
is
gearing
up
for
the
release
of
his
next
film
Kahaani
2
which
has
him
sharing
screen
space
with
Vidya
Balan.
In
an
interview
with
Film
Companion,
when
the
actor
was
asked
if
having
another
big
star
in
a
popular
franchise
takes
the
pressure
off
from
his
shoulders,
he
said,
"On
the
contrary,
it
puts
pressure
on
you.
When
you
have
a
film
which
has
been
such
a
successful
film,
which
has
been
loved.
Sujoy
was
telling
me
that
[in
terms
of]
the
ROI
(Return
on
Investment),
there's
Jai
Santoshi
Maa.
That
was
number
1
in
ROI
on
the
budget
compared
to
the
money
that
it
made,
and
number
2
is
Kahaani.
So
there's
tremendous
pressure.
That's
great
because
I
love
to
work
under
pressure.
It
keeps
me
on
my
toes,
it
keeps
me
alive
and
it
keeps
me
from
getting
complacent.
You
don't
take
things
lightly,
and
you
shouldn't.
As
opposed
to
saying
"Ah
this
is
going
to
be
a
cake-walk,
this
is
going
to
be
easy",
and
you
land
in
the
most
boring
and
dull
performance
of
your
life."
When
probed
further
why
despite
of
being
a
part
of
many
good
films
and
even
having
a
National
Award
in
his
kitty,
he
didn't
let
that
become
a
larger-than-life
superstar,
Arjun
quipped,
"I
don't
want
to
be
that.
I
want
to
be
an
actor.
I
am
a
superstar,
I
was
born
one.
There's
nothing
that
excites
me
about
that."
Meanwhile,
Kahaani
2
directed
by
Sujoy
Ghosh
has
Vidya
Balan
playing
Durga
Rani
Singh,
a
woman
wanted
for
murder
and
kidnapping
whereas
Arjun
essays
the
role
of
a
cop.
The
film
recently
received
a
U/A
certificate
from
the
Censor
Board
and
will
be
hitting
the
big
screens
on
2nd
December.
