Deepika Padukone is all set to dance amidst 400 lamps in a traditional Ghoomar song in her upcoming movie Padmavati as Sanjay Leela Bhansali wants the visual experience to be realistic and out of the world.
A source close to the movie was quoted as saying, "Ghoomar will be the first song SLB shoots for the film, and everything from the visuals, to the sound, to the sets is being carefully planned and put together. It will be a complete royal experience and the final look will leave people spellbound."
It is also reported that larger than life Rajasthani paintings have been used as part of the wall design along with 400 diyas for the song and it took the team close to two full days to design the whole set. Also, authentic fire dancers from Kishangarh and Terah Taali musicians from Jaipur will also be a part of the song.
Deepika Padukone took close to two months to learn the dance form that has been associated with royalty. She has been working hard everyday to get the footwork and technicalities right for the Ghoomar number.
