Farhan Akhtar Is a True Sport! Says He Wishes Both Kaabil & Raees Fare Well At The Box Office
Farhan Akhtar says he wishes that both Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil & Shahrukh Khan's Raees fare well at the box office. Farhan Akhtar showed true sportmanship & avoided all sorts of mudslinging.
When two movies clash at the box office, mud slinging becomes the norm and both the teams do everything possible to pull the other down. While everyone assumed that Shahrukh Khan's Raees and Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil will have a bitter fight, things turned out to be completely the opposite.
In fact film-maker Farhan Akhtar went ahead and said that he wants both Raees and Kaabil to do well at the box office and would accept it if Kaabil fared better than his own film Raees as Hrithik and Rakesh are his close friends. Now that's true 'sportsmanship and gentleman' kind of attitude Farhan carries around.
Farhan Akhtar said, "I am the last person to wish ill for anyone's film. So those hoping to get clash quotes on the 'may-the-best-film-win' topic may please look elsewhere. Roshan uncle and Hrithik are family. I want their film to do just as well, if not better than ours."
He further commented, "Quite recently Bajirao Mastani and Dilwale were released on the same day. They both did well. I'd wish and pray that Raees and the Roshans' Kaabil would both do well." Shahrukh Khan's Raees and Hrithik Roshan's Kaabil are all set to hit the theatres on January 26, 2016.
