Gauri Khan's Father Passes Away, Shahrukh Khan Attends The Funeral In Delhi (Pics)

Shahrukh Khan's father-in-law, Colonel Ramesh Chandra Chibber passed away on Tuesday night. Shahrukh and Gauri Khan left for Delhi immediately after getting the news. The actor recently, attended the funeral at Lodhi Crematorium.

According to reports, Colonel Chibber was taken to Escorts hospital in New Delhi where he breathed his last at 8:55 on Tuesday. His cremation happened at Lodhi Crematorium in Delhi today morning.

Gauri Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Karan Johar were at the cremation ground.

Colonel Ramesh Chander Chibber was married to Savita Chibber and the couple had two children, Gauri and Vikrant.

Shahrukh Khan was very close to his father-in-law. The actor revealed his fondness towards him in one of his tweets, He wrote, "My gentle father in law made me realise how lil it matters who was rite or who was wrong. Wot matters is grace. Thnx MCA for ur graciousness"

A member of Shahrukh Khan's team told the leading daily HHindustan Times through a text message."We are very saddened by the loss of our father Ramesh Chibba. The funeral is at 10:00 on the 2nd of March at Lodhi Crematorium,"
