It was the happiest moment in Kalki Koechlin's life, when on Tuesday the lovely actress collected her Special Jury Award for her performance in 'Margarita With A Straw' at the 63rd National Awards ceremony in Vigyan Bhavan, Delhi. But her joyous moment soon turned into a nightmare when the actress was groped outside the award ceremony venue.

According to Spotboye,com, ''When the awards ceremony wrapped up, Kalki stepped out of Vigyan Bhavan to make her way towards her car. It was the time for the security team to do their job. Strangely, they moved ahead to escort Amitabh Bachchan and Kangana Ranaut but not Kalki. The next thing that Kalki knew was that she was being mobbed. With no security around to help her, things turned worse when the actress was groped.''

The report further states that an enraged Kalki Koechlin somehow managed to break free and hurried inside. She even thought of filing a police complaint, but then decided against it and complained to the National Awards organisers instead. It is still unknown what step the oraganiser took after knowing about the shocking incident.

But the damage was already done and we must say that it is indeed a very shameful incident and it proves that woman is not safe anywhere in our country not even at a national level event.
