Kangana Ranaut has signed up for a crash course in horse riding in Germany to perfectly portray the role of the warrior queen of Jhansi, Rani Lakshmi Bai in her upcoming biopic.
Kangana
Ranaut,
who
mesmerized
people
in
the
superhit
movie
Queen
and
the
Tanu
Weds
Manu
franchise,
is
all
set
to
star
in
the
biopic
of
Rani
Lakshmi
Bai
which
will
be
directed
by
Ketan
Mehta.
Kangana
is
taking
her
role
very
seriously
as
the
warrior
queen
of
Jhansi.
Rani
Lakshmi
Bai
was
skilled
in
horse
riding
and
Kangana
wants
to
do
justice
to
the
role.
The
actress
has
signed
up
for
a
crash
course
in
horse
riding
in
Germany
and
it
is
reported
that
she'll
be
spending
a
lot
of
time
with
horses
and
she'll
also
be
staying
in
the
stable
working
with
and
feeding
the
horses.
A
source
close
to
the
movie
was
quoted
as
saying,
"The
sessions
will
provide
her
with
an
insight
about
the
breeds
of
horses,
their
diet,
living
conditions,
the
first-aid
required
for
injuries
and
their
grooming
techniques.
Kangana
is
keen
to
learn
the
craft,
so
living
in
a
stable
is
the
best
way
to
prepare
for
the
role."
Her
publicist
confirmed
the
news
by
saying,
"Kangana
will
finish
shooting
for
Simran
soon.
Post
that
she
will
start
promoting
Rangoon,
which
releases
early
next
year.
Once
she
is
done
with
the
promotions,
she
will
head
to
Germany
(to
learn
horse
riding)."
