Bollywood celebrities including Kareena Kapoor Khan, Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan and Farhan Akhtar spotted at the Global Citizen event. They said they would be part of social action platform and The Global Education and Leadership Foundation which was launched on Monday evening.
Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was also present on the occasion. The inaugural Global Citizen Festival India, to be held here on November 19, will be its first initiative, and will be headlined by Coldplay, Jay Z, Aamir, Ranveer Singh, Katrina Kaif, A.R. Rahman, Farhan, Shraddha Kapoor, Arjun Kapoor, Arijit Singh, Dia Mirza, Shankar Ehsaan Loy and Monali Thakur.

Actress Kareena Kapoor, who also came to extend her support for the Global Citizen movement, was looking helluva stylish unknowingly stole all thunder from the other celebs, who were present at the event.

The actress shared some frivolous question that's she is being bombarded with these days like whether she is having a girl child or a boy child which disturbs her.
“Is It A Boy Or A Girl?”
"Wherever I go these days there is just one question asked which I think quite intrusive but, still I am asked both me and Saif whether it is a boy or is it a girl? Have you found out?," told Kareena.
"And I am like excuse me what difference does it make. I am a girl child I would love to have a girl what is the difference. Probably I have done more for my parents than a son would," Kareena Kapoor said at an event.

At the event, Aamir Khan was also spotted and he was seen in a completely different avatar. The actor urged people to follow his lead in taking their first Action Journey on GlobalCitizen.in.

Kareena further told, "We are still in a nation where we have been asked oh you are getting married and still going to work, oh you are having a child are you till going to work. These questions upset me."
"When I was asked if I would like to be part of this initiative my first reaction was as an expectant mother on this journey nothing would make me happier than being part of a movement," added the Jab We Met actress.

For all those people who think a girl child is considered taboo, a girl is considered not equal enough, not up to a man but you must know a woman is the only soul that has the right to carry a soul in her. Whereas, Amitabh said, "It is a great honour to see the words of Prime Minister Modi at Global Citizen Festival in New York coming to light with the first edition of Global Citizen taking place in India."
