The ace designer of B-town, Manish Malhotra seems pretty miffed with Anushka Sharma as the actress shared a video on Instagram of her 17 kg lehenga, which we saw her wearing in 'Channa Mereya' song from Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and didn't mention anything about Manish Malhotra.
Anushka posted the picture and wrote, "Wearing a 17kg lehenga was indeed Mushkil!!!? #ADHM#ChannaMereya #AeDilKiDiwali" On the same picture, Manish Malhotra commented, "And thanks for not even tagging me or mentioning my name considering the passion love and hard work we put in the outfit :) :) :) :) "
However, his comment was followed by a few smiling smileys but once can clearly feel the sarcasm in Manish Malhotra's comment! See below, Anushka's reply over the entire matter..
After reading Manish Malhotra's comment, a few of Anushka's followers also started trolling her for not having etiquettes. After facing the wrath of her fans, Anushka posted a new picture with Manish Malhotra and wrote, "All the most beautiful looks of mine in #aedilhaimushkilcourtesy the one & only. 'I Come From Nowhere'
"We (her brother and her) come from nowhere. Ours is a middle-class background; we rarely even went to the theatre. Anushka On Turning Down Tamasha
"Film people are portrayed as very petty and stupid, but it's not true. I will never say yes to a script because I'm scared to hurt someone or afraid they'll get back at me for my refusal. But I say no honestly, I don't lie about (my reasons). You have to respect the person enough to do that and usually they'll understand."
Anushka On Choosing Strong Roles
"I was reading Meryl Streep's biography and there's a part where she says the reason women make better actors is because all their lives, they've had to act to make people listen to them. We've all got to find our way to take part in the conversation. I do it by choosing strong roles."
