There are a lot of speculations doing the rounds about Nargis Fakhri and Uday chopra's relationship status and the duo have not really come out in the open and confirmed their relationship or break-up. However, Nargis Fakhri in a recent interview to Mid Day said that Uday Chopra is just 'a friend' and nothing else.
She was quoted as saying, "I am repeating myself: Uday and I aren't dating each other. But he will always remain a part of my life. I have very few friends in India, and I feel fortunate that he's one of them."

based on a musical in which Nargis plays the role of a DJ and
Riteish is a musician.

Rumours were doing the rounds in May 2016 that Nargis Fakhri had
a mental break down after her breakup with Uday Chopra, as he
denied to marry her. The actress then flew back to the US deciding
never to return. Well, none of these claims have been confirmed and
Nargis rejects these as baseless rumours.
The actress is currently in Mumbai and will dedicate her time
for the promotions of her upcoming film Banjo, in which she is
starring alongside Riteish Deshmukh. The film would see Nargis play
the role of a disk jockey and Riteish a musician. Banjo would hit
