‘Jagga Jasoos’ Ranbir Kapoor Unleashes His Inner Child In This New Still

Ranbir Kapoor and Katrina Kaif are busy wrapping up the remaining portions of Anurag Basu's Jagga Jasoos, which is slated to release next year. The film, which is currently in its last schedule will wrap up by 24th November.

While we await to hear the pack-up news, the makers of the film know how to raise the excitement level notches higher and gave all Ranbir Kapoor fans a surprise treat by releasing a new still from yesterday's movie shoot. It features the Ae Dil Hai Mushkil actor in a happy zone.

Jagga Jasoos directed by Anurag Basu, has Ranbir playing a detective in search of his missing father.

The movie, which is a co-production of Anurag and Ranbir, was announced in 2014. Ranbir and Katrina, who were in a relationship back then, shot for it intermittently. Initially, it was speculated that Ranbir got busy shooting for Anurag Kashyap's Bombay Velvet (2015), and could shoot for Jagga Jasoos only in 2015, which resulted in the film's delay. However, Anurag had dismissed these as mere rumours and had said that the plan always was to release JJ post Karan Johar's Ae Dil Hai Mushkil (ADHM).

He was quoted saying to Hindustan Times, "I shot JJ in 2015 for 15 days. I didn't shoot most of 2015 even though Ranbir and Katrina gave their dates to me. I knew (back then) that my film would release post Karan's film. I don't like to sit on material (that has been shot). I don't clarify and don't talk (about my projects). I like to release my movies as soon as possible after they are shot."

Finally, Jagga Jasoos produced by Disney India and Picture Shuru Productions, will now hit the big screens on 7th April, 2017.
