The ban on Pakistani artistes following the Uri attack, has divided the B-town in two parts. One party is supporting the ban, while some are against it. But the recent statement from the veteran actor, Om Puri has left us shocked!
During a live debate on a TV channel, referring to the Indian soldiers Om Puri aggressively said, "We haven't forced them to join army." He further added, "Prepare 15-20 people as suicide bomber and send them to Pakistan."
As expected, within a few hours, Twitterati started criticizing the actor and vented out their frustration on the social media..

Earlier in the day, Om Puri also talked about the ban on Pakistani artistes and said, "Pakistani artistes are not working illegally here and if they are sent back, Indian producers, who have signed them for their films, will suffer heavy losses."
While talking about the recent surgical strikes by the Indian army, Om Puri said, "When the government is taking an action, we all should stay quiet. It hardly matters if we send back the artists from Pakistan, who are working here, or let them stay. I have been to Pakistan six times and have met people from all strata.I have always received love and warmth. If the Pakistani actors leave the projects they are doing here in middle, then people in India (filmmakers) will also face financial loss."
