AWESOME! Ranveer Singh Plays A Stand-up Comedian In Befikre

Yesterday, we gave you some details about Vaani Kapoor's role in Aditya Chopra's Befikre. The actress plays the role of Shyra, a young, independent girl who is born and brought up in Paris to Indian parents. She is someone who falls in love, has a heartbreak, fixes herself and moves on.

Now, we have latest scoop for you about the film's hero, Ranveer Singh. While we all know that Befikre revolves around the theme of carefree love, you will be quite surprised to know about Ranveer's role in the movie.

As per a DNA report, a source was quoted saying, "Ranveer plays Dharam - a young stand-up comic who goes to Paris to perform at a friend's comedy club. His friend owns a club called Delhi Belly. He invites Ranveer to perform a stand-up act that desis might enjoy. Dharam is a winner with the crowds. The happy go lucky guy enjoys every bit of Paris and is besotted by the free spirited Shyra played by Vaani."

In real life, Ranveer is known for his witty humour and funny antics. Hence, it would be quite interesting to see him tickle our funny bone on the big screen too.

Befikre has Ranveer and Vaani pairing up for the first time. The film is slated to release on 9th December, 2016.
