Many stories about Shahrukh Khan and Rohit Shetty's fight went viral when their movie Dilwale flopped at the box office. In a recent interview with Koma Nahta, Rohit Shetty revealed that he got scared of Shahrukh Khan and Kajol's chemistry and that is the reason why he changed the script, "I know what went wrong with Dilwale. My conviction went wrong. This is the only film I didn't make with my conviction. I got scared with Shahrukh and Kajol's chemistry.''

After this interview, many people thought that Rohit Shetty is blaming Shahrukh Khan for the failure of Dilwale. When Bollywood Life asked Rohit about the same, he said, ''Shahrukh is one of the finest producers and human beings I've worked with. I have never blamed Shahrukh and Kajol's pairing for Dilwale's non performance. I would never attribute it to that."

In his interview with Komal, Rohit also revealed that earlier Kajol had a very small role in Dilwale, "I had to cater to SRK Kajol fans. The original script was something else and I changed it. I wasn't asked to change it. If i'll give you the original script you'll fall on the floor laughing. It was a three hero film, a story about three brother. Kajol's character was very small and she had four to five scenes that too in flashback."

In one of his interviews, Shahrukh Khan too had praised Rohit Shetty and had told a daily, "Rohit Shetty is a brand himself. There are very few directors who are like that. I feel fortunate to work with him. Together, we are competitive.''
