Talking about his first meeting with Mira Rajput, Shahid Kapoor had told a leading daily, ''The first time we met, we spoke for seven hours. We were at a friends' farmhouse in Delhi.''

Further, the Haider actor had added, ''We went for a walk outside and the sun was setting behind her. I realised her eyes were not dark. They had a hazel tinge.''
When Shahid Turned A ‘Besharam’ For Mira
He also revealed his funny take on marrying Mira and told, ''That moment, I felt shayad main iss ladki se shaadi kar sakta hoon. But I also told myself, 'What are you thinking? Bees saal ki hai, besharam!'"
But What Makes Mira Special?
"She (Mira) makes me feel very normal. I go back to a very real atmosphere and I really like that a lot. She has no desire to get overtly 'filmy' as a person,'' Shahid was quoted as saying in his recent interview.
On the work front, the actor has recently signed a film opposite Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh. The film is titled as 'Padmavati' and it will be directed by one of the most talented directors of film industry, Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
Not forgetting to mention, Shahid will be next seen in Vishal Bhardwaj's upcoming film, Rangoon, that also casts Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut in the lead roles. It is a period drama film based on the World War II incidents. The movie is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and is scheduled to hit the theatres during the first quarter of 2017.
