Taapsee Pannu On Signing Judwaa 2: I Needed To Feel Like A Typical Bollywood Heroine For A Change

After much speculations, the makers of Varun Dhawan's Judwaa 2 finally announced Taapsee Pannu and Jacqueline Fernandez as the film's leading ladies.

While Jacqueline had earlier shared screen space with Varun in Dishoom, Taapsee is teaming up for the actor for the first time.

As per an Asian Age report, Taapsee is quite excited to be a part of this light hearted, frothy comedy after doing an intense film like Pink. The daily quoted her saying, "I am totally looking forward to this change of mood in my career. I needed a little bit of singing and dancing in my life too. Judwaa 2 will be a change for me. The comedy genre will be a break from what I've lined up. I needed to feel like a typical Bollywood heroine for a change."

She is always looking forward to work with Varun Dhawan and further added, "He is fun and a fine actor. Someday I'd also love to work with Salman Khan who was in the original Judwaa."

Judwaa 2 is slated to release on 29th September, 2017.
