This Portfolio Picture Of Amitabh Bachchan Got Him Rejected By Filmfare

Amitabh Bachchan is a huge star today, who is not only known in India but around the world as well but not everybody knows that this renowned actor had a tough time getting into Bollywood.

On February 22nd, Amitabh Bachchan shared a portfolio picture which he had submitted to Filmfare Madhuri contest to enter Bollywood and guess what, Filmfare had rejected him.

While this picture got him kicked out of the talent hunt contest in 60's, he did managed to make a debut in Bollywood. His debut was in Saat Hindustani, he later did Anand in 1971 for which he got a Filmfare award for Best Supporting Actor.

He then did Parwaana (1971), Reshma Aur Shera (1971), Guddi and Bombay to Goa post which his films started to flop big time at the Box Office. All that changed post Zanjeer, after which he never had to look back.

Today, even at the age of 73, he is one of the most sought after actor and has been Best Actor awards at numerous events for his role in Piku.

Amitabh is one of a kind actor who sings, writes and acts beautifully! Although he was famously nicknamed as angry young man, today he does a variety of roles that probably no other actor would dare to attempt.

Best part is that Amitabh Bachchan is one of the highest paid actors and is also the higest tax payer in the country. When Filmfare rejected him, who knew he would end up ruling the entire film industry for more than 4 decades.
