HEARD THIS: Ranbir Kapoor Finds A Friend in Vicky Kaushal For Sanjay Dutt Biopic?

Last seen as a drug addict cop in Anurag Kashyap's Raman Raghav 2.0, it now looks in Vicky Kaushal has something new in store for us that's less sinister.

As per a Spotboye report, the actor will be seen playing a close friend to Ranbir Kapoor's Sanjay Dutt in the biopic. Buzz is that he caught director Rajkumar Hirani's attention with his power-packed performance in his debut film Masaan.

Not just that, a couple of days back Vicky was spotted at Rajkumar's Hirani's birthday bash along with Ranbir Kapoor which adds more to the speculations. Currently he is prepping up for his role in the film.

Earlier, Vicky was also supposed to be a part of Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati, which he finally lost out to Shahid Kapoor after Deepika refused to share screen space with him.

Meanwhile, Sonam Kapoor is officially a part of the Sanjay Dutt biopic. Rumour mills are abuzz that she plays one of Dutt's earlier love interests.
