Did Zareen Khan Gatecrash Filmfare Awards Just To Sit Next To Salman Khan?

Rumours were doing the rounds, that Hate Story 3 star Zareen Khan, was apparently not invited for the Filmfare Awards 2016, and hence the actress decided to gatecrash the event.

Apart from gatecrashing the Filmfare Awards 2016, Zareen Khan, also insisted that she be seated next to the Bajrangi Bhaijaan star Salman Khan, right in the front row of the event.

As the front row of the event was already full and had no available seats, Salman Khan, the gentleman that he is, gave up his seat for Zareen Khan.

However, Zareen Khan, wanted to sit right next to Salman Khan and she refused the offer citing, how long would Salman Khan stand! And then, the actress left the event in a huff.

The news portal Bollywoodlife, contacted the Hate Story 3 actress Zareen Khan for further information about the issue and Zareen opened up as saying,

"First of all let me tell you this, and I'm sure you know it too that no one can gatecrash Filmfare, and I can back up with proof that I haven't gatecrashed. I don't need to."

So yes, Zareen Khan did not gatecrash Filmfare Awards 2016 and she says she was invited to the event. We hope the quote by Zareen Khan will put a full stop to the baseless rumours doing the rounds that she gatecrashed Filmfare Awards 2016.

Salman Khan, had launched Zareen Khan into Bollywood through the movie Veer, which released in 2010. Veer, did not do well at the box office and ended up being a flop.

Zareen Khan, also starred in Housefull 2, which released in 2012 and the movie did well at the box office. The actress, was recently seen in Hate Story 3, and the film was a success.
