Aamir
Khan
starrer
Dangal
will
be
screened
in
the
Parliament
for
all
MPs
on
March
23rd
in
an
effort
to
spread
the
message
of
women
empowerment
to
the
highest
ranking
officials
of
our
Indian
government.
The
movie
will
be
screened
at
the
initiative
of
Lok
Sabha
Speaker
Sumita
Mahajan
and
will
take
place
in
the
Parliament's
'Balayogi
auditorium'.
Secretary
General
of
Lok
Sabha,
Anoop
Mishra
was
quoted
as
saying,
"It
is
my
privilege
to
inform
you
that
the
Speaker
has
desired
that
popular
Hindi
film
Dangal
be
screened
for
the
Members
of
both
Houses
on
Thursday,
March
23
at
18.30
hrs.
I
would
be
grateful
if
could
kindly
make
it
convenient
to
grace
the
occasion
along
with
your
spouse."
The
event
is
being
organised
by
the
Welfare
Department
of
the
Lok
Sabha
Secretariat.
"The
objective
is
to
send
across
the
message
of
women
empowerment
so
that
the
law
makers
can
promote
it
in
their
respective
constituencies,"
said
a
senior
official
from
the
department.
In
2016,
the
play
Chanakya
was
staged
for
the
MPs
and
this
time
it's
Dangal.
Aamir
Khan
and
the
girls
would
surely
be
happy
after
hearing
this
news!
Also,
we
hope
that
the
MPs
learn
a
lesson
or
two
about
women
empowerment
and
do
the
right
thing
necessary
to
support
the
cause.
