SS
Rajamouli's
Baahubali
shattered
all
the
box
office
records
when
it
released
in
2015.
Now,
everyone
is
eagerly
waiting
for
the
second
part
of
the
film
which
holds
the
key
to
the
cliffhanger
thrown
in
the
climax
of
the
first
film.
Now,
if
the
latest
reports
are
to
be
believed
then
Rajamouli
is
set
to
kick
off
a
trilogy
based
on
the
Mahabharata.
As
per
Mumbai
Mirror,
according
to
a
source
close
to
the
development,
the
filmmaker,
"couldn't
stop
raving
about
the
Mahabharata
at
an
event
recently,
admitting
that
he
was
planning
a
film
on
a
huge
scale,
using
virtual
reality
extensively
and
recreating
the
epic
with
modern
graphics."
Buzz
is
that
the
film
will
go
under
scripting
stage
in
2018
and
will
be
made
over
5-6
years
on
a
budget
of
INR
400
crore.
The
film
is
said
to
be
shot
in
Telugu,
Tamil
and
Hindi.
A
source
further
added,
"This
time,
Rajamouli
plans
to
cast
actors
from
the
Hindi
film
industry
as
well
as
South
stars."
Interestingly,
last
month
when
Aamir
was
promoting
Dangal
in
Hyderabad,
the
actor
had
expressed
his
desire
to
work
with
SS
Rajamouli
and
had
said
that
if
the
director
ever
makes
Mahabharata,
he
would
love
to
be
a
part
of
it.
He
was
quoted
saying,
"I'm
a
huge
fan
of
Rajamouli's
work
and
if
he
ever
plans
to
make
'Mahabharata',
I'd
love
to
play
Krishna
or
Karna.
I
might
actually
go
with
Krishna."
Well,
did
Aamir
just
drop
a
hint
about
a
collabration?
Guess
we
will
have
to
wait
for
Rajamouli
to
make
some
official
announcement
soon.
Till
then,
keep
watching
this
space
for
all
the
interesting
updates.
