Akshay Kumar opens up about the Bangalore molestation case on new year's night 2017. Akshay is saddenned by the incident & says we as a nation are evolving backwards with atrocities against women.

The Bangalore molestation case on new year's night has shocked everyone and celebrities are coming forward and condemning the incident and asking for swift action to be taken against the molesters. Akshay Kumar has posted a video clip on his Twitter handle condemning the incident and said that we as a nation are evolving backwards whith such kind of atrocities taking place against women.

He captioned the video clip as, "The Bangalore incident makes me feel we r evolving backwards, from humans to animals, rather beasts coz even animals are better! Truly shameful."

Bollywood actors such as Aamir Khan, Farhan Akhtar and Salim Khan had condemned the incident and demanded the officials to book the guilty at the earliest. Salim Khan also requested the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi to address the issue and put pressure on the officials working on the case.

The police are going through the CCTV footage/media coverage/mobile videos of that fateful new year's night and have promised to look into the matter and book the molesters if any evidence is found.
