Irrfan Khan And Saba Qamar Share A Cute Moment In This New Still From Hindi Medium!

Irrfan Khan whose acting prowess never fails to impress, is back again on the big screen but this time in an unusual avatar. The actor will be seen playing a rich Punjabi businessman and clothes store owner from Chandni Chowk in Saket Choudhary's Hindi Medium.

A Mumbai Mirror report quoted a source saying, is "The team shot at real locations in Chandni Chowk, Anand Lok, Karol Bagh and Sangam Vihar to keep things authentic. There were no vanity vans available for the cast so the team hired houses where the actors could get ready for the shoot during the two-month schedule. The schedule would kick off at 5am so the team could sneak in Irrfan in the market without the crowds getting a wind of the shoot. However, post shoot the locals were given a chance to meet the actors. For his prep, Irrfan was shown recorded clips of shopkeepers while they went about their daily business so he could get his turn right. The idea was to capture the essence of affluent Chandni Chowk residents who are known to favour flashy things, so the actor will be seen sporting leather jackets and jhatak clothes; the look is bright and colourful."

Pakistani actress Saba Qamar is set to make her Bollywood debut with this film and will be essaying the role of Irrfan's wife.

Hindi Medium revolves around Irrfan and Saba as a couple who are eager to be accepted in the Capital's elitist circles. The film is slated to hit the big screens on 31st March, 2017.
