India Is Rocking At The Oscars Red Carpet! Says Riteish Deshmukh

The Oscars 2017 was watched worldwide and people applauded the winners who bagged the prestigious award from La La Land to Moonlight and Lion. The event came to an end and Indians were quite visible at the Red Carpet and also made a statement at the awards show. Stars like Priyanka Chopra, Dev Patel and Sunny Pawar made heads turn.

Riteish Deshmukh took to Twitter and highlighted how awesome Indians were looking at the Oscars Red Carpet and said, "India is rocking it at Oscars Red Carpet . @priyankachopra looking absolutely stunning. Dev Patel with her Mum & Sunny Pawar stealing hearts."

Richa Chadha was also touched when The Academy paid homage to the Indian actor Om Puri. She took to Twitter by saying, "So thankful and touched at the memoriam for #OmPuri Saab at #Oscars2017," and also replied to a tweet that questioned why Indians are so impressed by American stamp of authority by saying, "Because he was a part of several acclaimed and entertaining Hollywood projects and the fraternity honoured him for that."
