The young lad has been signed up for 'Peddlers' director Vasan Balan's next called Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota which is touted to be a quirky action comedy. The film will be produced by Anurag Kashyap's production house.

Newbie Radhika Madan To Play Abhimanyu's Leading Lady

We hear that newcomer, Radhika Madan, has been cast to play Abhimanyu's heroine. Both are undergoing rigorous training for a year as the film pro mises to have some never-before-seen hand combat action sequences. Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota also features Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi in a significant role.

Producer Anurag Kashyap Opens Up About The Film

Anurag Kashyap confirmed this development to Mumbai Mirror and was quoted saying, "Vasan has written a superbly funny and kickass martial arts film, the likes of which I have neither read nor seen. It's so local and so new that you can't help but marvel at it. And I'm glad I get to produce it. We in Phantom hope that it becomes a never before seen franchise with these maddeningly crazy characters."

He was a assistant director on the sets of Rohan Sippy's Dum Maaro Dum and Nautanki Salla.

Abhimanyu On Star Kids Getting An Easy Entry In The World Of Films

In an earlier interview with Hindustan Times, when the actor was asked if he felt that star kids get an easy entry in Bollywood, he had said, "Easy? Seriously? (laughs) Ask us... There's a lot of pressure on us to prove ourselves. People have high expectations from star kids."
