The President of the United States Barack Obama gave his final speech in Chicago by signing off with his famous campaign slogan which he used in 2008 'Yes We Can'. The crowd chanted "Four more years" and he responded "Chicago, I can't do that."
On January 20, 2017 Barack Obama will hand over the Presidential responsibilities to Donald Trump and said that the Presidential transition is going on very smoothly. The outgoing President's farewell speech was so moving, that Priyanka Chopra took to her social media handle and posted a picture of her television screen showcasing the goodbye speech from Obama and captioned it as, "What an incredible legacy.. #FarewellAdress #Obamas."
In May 2016, Priyanka Chopra had attended the White House Correspondents Dinner and met Barack Obama and his wife Michelle Obama in the Oval office. An excited PeeCee had heaped praises on the President by saying, "Lovely to meet the very funny and charming Barack Obama and the beautiful Michelle Obama."
PeeCee's meeting with the Obamas at the White House went so well, that Michelle invited her to to be a part of her girls initiative project 'Let Girls Learn'. The project aimed to empower 62 Million girls around the world who at present do not go to school and the initiative helped them achieve education. The US President is also a passionate supporter of the cause.
