''I have hit him once or twice. When he was seven or eight years old. We were staying on the 13th floor of a building. We had a big terrace and I had kept some soda bottles and beer bottles there. The kids were throwing all those bottles down and it could have hurt somebody.''

''I lost my temper and out of anger, I gave him two or three slaps. But then, I realised after an hour that maybe, it was not the right way to deal with the situation. I should have just explained it to him.''

''Hrithik is a good son, but he's a better dad. He realises I was not there for him. So whenever he gets time, he's with the kids. He's either vacationing with them, going for a movie or just spending time with them.''

''He takes them out on adventure trips. Maybe, it is an extension of what he wanted to do when he was their age. He teaches them to perform magic, and play the piano, and guitar. He takes them exercising and do athletic stuff like flipping and they would do it perfectly."
