If all goes well, then we might see Remo D'Souza and Deepika Padukone collaborating for a film soon.

Remo
D'Souza
had
recently
revealed
that
he
is
planning
to
cast
Salman
Khan
as
a
dancer
dad
in
his
next
project
and
since
then
the
choreographer
turned
director
has
been
in
a
lot
of
news.
Now,
if
reports
are
to
be
believed
then
he
has
yet
another
film
on
his
mind
revolving
around
the
theme
of
folk
dance.
Remo
revealed
that
is
planning
to
make
a
full-fledged
commercial
film
based
on
the
life
of
a
folk
dancer
and
the
art
itself
and
is
keen
to
cast
Deepika
Padukone
in
this
movie.
At
the
launch
of
his
official
app,
Remo
said,
"I
have
the
script
ready
and
the
project
is
waiting
to
go
on
floors.
I
would
love
to
cast
Deepika
in
the
lead
role.
She
is
an
amazing
dancer
and
one
of
my
favourites."
While
Deepika
is
yet
to
give
a
nod
to
this
project,
buzz
is
that
she
is
likely
to
be
a
part
of
this
film
considering
Remo
had
choreographed
her
first
music
video
and
most
recently,
he
won
the
first
National
Award
of
his
career
for
Bajirao
Mastani's
Deewani
Mastani
track,
which
featured
her.
Remo
further
spoke
about
their
association
and
said,
"Few
people
are
aware
that
I
was
the
one
who
choreographed
her
first
music
video
before
she
entered
the
industry.
She
was
doing
ad
films
and
I
got
her
to
do
a
video
with
Himesh
Reshamiya
(Aap
Ka
Surroor).
We
haven't
worked
together
since
(all
the
way
till
Yeh
Jawaani
Hai
Deewani
and
later,
Bajirao
Mastani)
and
her
talent
has
only
grown."
Well,
we
believe
that
it
would
be
quite
interesting
to
watch
Dippy
as
a
folk
dancer!
Don't
you
guys
think
so
too?
Meanwhile,
Deepika's
Hollywood
debut
xXx:
Return
Of
Xander
Cage
is
all
set
to
release
next
week
in
India
which
has
her
playing
the
role
of
a
huntress
named
Serena
Unger.
We
are
way
too
excited
to
see
her
performing
some
kickass
action
sequences
in
this
film!
