We
all
know
that
Salman
Khan
loves
to
paint
and
the
actor
has
not
sold
any
of
his
paintings.
He
has
instead
gifted
them
to
his
family
and
friends.
He
gifted
a
huge
wall
portrait
to
his
sister
Arpita
Khan,
later
gifted
Kareena
Kapoor
a
live-sized
painting
of
two
lovers,
a
monochrome
painting
of
a
man
to
Asin,
three
paintings
to
Chitrangada
Singh,
one
each
to
Kabir
Khan
and
Mahesh
Manjrekar
and
also
one
to
his
close
family
friend
Bina
Kak.
The
idea
of
selling
his
paintings
came
when
a
big
businessman
impressed
by
his
painting
of
a
mother-son
locked
in
an
embrace
offered
the
actor
a
sum
of
Rs
20
Lakhs
to
purchase
it.
Salman
refused
the
offer
and
charged
a
whopping
1
Crore
instead
as
the
painting
is
close
to
his
heart.
The
businessman
without
second
thoughts
picked
it
up
and
Salman
invested
the
money
in
his
Being
Human
charity
foundation.
Since
then,
Salman
Khan
has
been
receiving
many
offers
from
various
people
to
buy
his
paintings
and
now
the
actor
has
decided
to
sell
some
of
his
works
and
the
earnings
will
go
straight
to
the
Being
Human
charity
foundation.
A
source
close
to
the
actor
was
quoted
as
saying
to
Mumbai
Mirror,
"Salman's
paintings
are
all
about
the
emotions
of
life.
They
are
focussed
on
love,
family
ties
and
the
oneness
of
religion,
which
are
all
feelings
that
resonate
with
the
actor.
They
are
extremely
personal
and
he
does
not
paint
for
money
or
fame;
he
does
it
for
the
joy
and
peace
it
brings
him.
His
family
and
friends
are
always
gifting
him
canvases,
paints
and
brushes,
but
Salman
insists
that
his
best
works
are
on
life-sized
frames
with
hands.
Those
will
be
the
paintings
up
for
purchase
too."
