Shahrukh Khan’s Raees Gets A 'U/A' Certificate With 6 Verbal Cuts!
The Censor Board has given Shahrukh Khan & Mahira Khan's Raees a 'U/A' certificate with only 6 verbal cuts. Raees is all set to clash with Kaabil at the box office which stars Hrithik Roshan.

A
source
close
to
the
film
was
quoted
as
saying,
"There
have
been
six
cuts
that
have
been
recommended,
all
of
which
are
verbal
audio
cuts."
Hrithik
Roshan
and
Yami
Gautam
starrer
Raees
was
also
given
the
'U/A'
certificate
by
the
CBFC
and
they
passed
it
with
only
4
verbal
cuts.
So
the
coast
is
now
clear,
Raees
Vs
Kaabil
is
all
set
for
a
battle
at
the
box
office
on
January
25,
2016.
Also,
the
Baadshah
of
Bollywood,
Shahrukh
Khan
revealed
that
he's
not
afraid
about
Raees
failing
at
the
box
office.
He
said,
"If
I
don't
fail,
who
will?
And
I
can
afford
to
fail."
He
continued,
"Someone
who
is
not
in
my
position
failing
can
be
career-ending,
but
not
for
me."
"But
yeah,
it
feels
very
bad,
and
it
is
not
just
because
my
film
failed.
It
is
because
there
were
loads
of
people
associated
with
the
film,
who
had
their
hopes
on
me.
To
let
them
all
down,
it
feels
terrible.
I
don't
know
where
we
went
wrong,
actually."
Raees,
which
is
co-produced
by
Farhan
Akhtar
and
Gauri
Khan
also
stars
Nawazuddin
Siddiqui
in
a
prominent
role.
The
film
is
directed
by
Rahul
Dholakia
and
would
also
see
Sunny
Leone
in
an
item
number
