Shraddha
Kapoor
and
Arjun
Kapoor
are
currently
shooting
for
their
upcoming
film
Half
Girlfriend
and
we
all
know
that
both
Arjun
and
Shraddha
are
basketball
players
in
the
film.
Now
if
you
thought
that
Shraddha
will
only
be
an
athlete
and
nothing
else,
then
you've
got
it
totally
wrong.
Not
only
is
she
an
athlete,
she's
also
a
glam
doll
who
has
worked
her
way
up
and
is
a
high
society
Delhi
girl.
Director
Mohit
Suri
opened
up
to
Mid-Day
by
saying,
"There's
a
lot
of
conjecture
around
how
Shraddha's
character
has
been
adapted
from
the
book.
She
has
worked
hard
to
become
the
high
society
Delhi
girl.
We
have
gone
all
out
to
glamorise
her
and
is
nothing
like
the
girl-next-door
that
you
have
seen
so
far."
When
asked
about
the
practice
sessions
of
the
game,
Mohit
Suri
opened
up
by
saying
both
Arjun
and
Shradhha
are
quick
learners
and
have
got
the
basics
of
the
game
right
with
a
lot
of
training.
He
said,
"Shraddha
would
train
for
hours
on
end
every
day
for
over
a
month.
While
Arjun
is
a
basketball
pro,
Shraddha
was
supposed
to
play
a
university
girl,
who
is
damn
good
at
it.
It
was
important
for
her
to
get
the
basics
right.
She
is
a
quick
learner
and
also
receptive
to
feedback.
The
DU
girls,
who
play
basketball,
would
play
a
game
or
two
while
we
weren't
shooting."
Mohit
also
confirmed
that
special
women
coaches
from
NBA
flew
down
from
the
US
to
train
Shraddha
Kapoor.
"International
coach
Natalia
Andre
and
her
team
were
always
present
on
set
to
help
her," he
said.
