to
each
family
of
the
12
CRPF
personnel
killed
in
the
Sukma
ambush
which
was
carried
out
by
maoists
in
Chhattisgarh.
The
amount
totals
to
1
crore
and
eight
lakhs
and
officials
confirmed
that
the
actor
approached
the
Union
Home
Ministry
with
a
request
to
obtain
the
bank
account
details
of
the
family
members
of
the
jawans
who
were
killed
in
the
ambush.
The
paramilitary
force
thanked
Akshay
Kumar
for
his
kind
gesture
and
released
a
statement
saying,
"(Akshay)
Kumar's
gesture
exhibits
his
patriotism
and
devotion
towards
the
country
in
general
and
CRPF
in
particular."
The
deceased
CRPF
personnel
have
been

The
attack
took
place
on
March
11,
2017
in
Chhattisgarh's
worst
maoist-hit

Sukma
when
the
personnel
were
on
patrol
duty
in
the
area.
