In the first two days in the country, the film minted Rs 27 crore, according to trade analyst Taran Adarsh. The movie is performing well in all the territories across the country. It has managed to hold well in the multiplexes as well as in the single screens.
Although a romantic drama, the film does throw the spotlight on the dowry system and still existent patriarchal society. The film is the second instalment of the 2014 hit film Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
