Varun Dhawan and his 'Judwaa 2' team celebrated 20 years of Judwaa today with a press conference where the young lad along with his father David Dhawan and producer Sajid Nadiadwala walked down the memory lane and spoke their heart.

We all know that the original 'Judwaa' boy Salman Khan is a little short-tempered. But do you know that he once wanted to slap Varun Dhawan? Shocking, isn't it? Well, the startling revelation was made by Varun himself at the conference.

Here are the few highlights from the event.

Sajid said, "Varun (Dhawan) was seven years old when Judwaa happened. I remember we shot 'Tan Tana Tan' song on the first day. Earlier films were not released during Eid and in the month of December. We decided to take the risk and had a solo release on 7th February. Salman Khan was playing a double role for the first time. I was teaming up with David Dhawan for the first time. People didn't have huge expectations from the film. But we were surprised with the tremendous response that we got."

Varun narrated an incident which made Salman Khan want to slap him back then. He said, " I remember I went for the film's trial and Salman was standing outside wearing shorts and ganji. I called him Salman uncle and he got very upset. He said, 'I will slap you. You should call me Salman bhai. If you call me uncle, I won't allow you inside the theatre. From then, I started calling him Salman bhai. I have lot of memories related to Judwaa. We are shooting the song 'Tu Mere Dil Mein Bas Jaa' in Mauritis. I remember those jet-skiing stunts. I was very small so my understanding about cinema wasn't so much. But I thought that they were having a picnic in Maurities. I would see Sajid Sir smiling. I would see my dad very happy. Salman bhai was having a good time. Back then, I was too small to understand that a film was being made and we were not on a holiday."

I feel its very unfair to him if you compare me with him. I am trying to be myself. Judwaa 2 is a very opportunity for me. I am playing a double role for the first time. Honestly, I wouldn't have been able to do this film if these two great people (David Dhawan and Sajid Nadiadwala) were not by my side because playing a double role for any actor is difficult. From my point of view, I am going to put my head down and create two characters that are entertaining. In Judwaa 2, Raja and Prem are going to be two fresh characters. Hopefully, we live up to people's expectations.

The best thing is that they themselves are approaching us and saying that they want to be a part of Judwaa 2. They won't be having a sketched role in the film. They will be making a special appearance whenever they are available.

I hope so. I haven't shared screen space with him before. A day before Judwaa 2 went on floors, Salman bhai send me cartons filled with jeans for Raja's character. I am trying to use his jeans in the film.
