In
a
recent
turn
of
events,
Bollywood
actor
Chandrachur
Singh
has
lashed
out
at
Salman
Khan
and
called
him
a
liar.
The
Josh
actor's
response
comes
after
Salman
Khan
made
statements
suggesting
that
Chandrachur
had
no
work
when
he
turned
down
a
role
in
Karan
Johar's,
Kuch
Kuch
Hota
Hai.
KKHH
which
marks
the
directorial
debut
of
Karan
Johar
starred
Shah
Rukh
Khan,
Kajol,
Rani
Mukerji,
and
Salman
Khan
in
lead
roles
and
it
recently
completed
25
years
of
its
release.
While
SRK
agreed
to
his
role,
before
Salman
Khan's
involvement
in
the
film,
Karan
Johar
had
approached
several
actors,
including
Chandrachur
Singh
and
Saif
Ali
Khan
who
had
turned
it
down.
Last
week,
a
video
from
Koffee
With
Karan
surfaced
on
the
internet
that
showed
KJo
recounting
his
initial
pitch
to
Salman
Khan,
stating,
"I
remember
the
first
time
I
ever
came
to
your
zone
to
narrate
my
first
film
to
you.
Saif
and
Chandrachur
had
said
no
to
the
role.
And
you
said
that
no
one's
going
to
do
your
role,
you
come
and
meet
me
tomorrow."
Salman
Khan
who
was
a
guest
on
the
show
said,
"It
was
not
difficult
for
you
to
get
a
Shah
Rukh
Khan
in
the
film
but
it
was
very
difficult
for
you
to
get
this
casting
(Aman)
because
Saif
at
that
point
of
time
was
doing
nothing.
Chandrachur
was
doing
nothing.
Even
they
refused
it.
I
did
it,
Karan.
I
saw
talent,
I
saw
genius
in
you.
And
after
that
you
never
worked
with
me."
Chandrachur
Singh,
however,
had
a
different
take
on
the
situation
and
called
Salman
Khan
a
liar.
A
user
on
Reddit
shared
a
conversation
between
Singh
and
a
fan
on
Instagram
where
he
expressed
his
disagreement
and
commented,
"Jhoot
Salman
ka."
When
the
user
asked
him
what
the
lie
was,
the
actor
explained
"Mere
paas
Josh,
Daag
The
Fire,
Kya
Kehna,
Silsila
Hai
Pyaar
Ka,
etc.
This.
I
made
a
choice." Chandrachur,
however,
deleted
his
comment.
Meanwhile,
Karan
Johar
revealed
a
harrowing
incident
from
the
Kuch
Kuch
Hota
Hai's
premiere
night.
He
recalled
receiving
a
threat
from
a
gangster
and
seeking
refuge
in
a
hotel
room.
During
this
time,
Shah
Rukh
Khan
showed
unwavering
support
for
him,
vowing
to
protect
him.
