Scheduled for a global theatrical release on August 10, the movie Jailer, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar and featuring Rajinikanth in the lead, will grace screens in its Tamil, Telugu, and Hindi iterations. Notably, Jailer has already demonstrated robust pre-release performance in the US box office market. Early estimates suggest that the film's premiere could potentially amass a substantial million in box office earnings. According to the industry monitoring entity Sacnilk, the advance booking for Jailer premieres has impressively surged past 0,000, with around 20,000 tickets snapped up by August 5.

Anticipations ran high for Kartik Aaryan's film Shehzada, yet unfortunately, it did not meet success. While conversing with Haroon Rashid of BBC Asian Network in London, Kartik candidly shared his reflections on grappling with setbacks. n being asked how failures have changed his perspective of things, he said, “The perspective that I got was that I won’t do a remake. Shehzada was actually the first time that I was doing a remake. It was the first time that I was experience the feeling of somebody having done this thing before that I was doing on camera. It was a different experience, later on. While filming, I didn’t realise it. I realised it later on that this was something that people had already seen. And I din’t see them watching it again, spending money, going to the theatres to watch the same thing again. I got a big perspective about it that I should not do a remake. It’s a big thing because every now and then, a remake arrives. But, I have decided. I would not enjoy it. I would not like to do something someone has already done."

I saw them performing on the stage, one of them was a giraffe, one of them a sunflower, they were just dancing around and they sent me a video with all these smiles and said ‘all the best Vicky uncle’ and that really changed me… that they are performing on the stage with no worry, there’s so much joy that they are feeling in performing, that’s what I carried on stage,” he added.

I don't know what it was... I think she was pregnant at that moment or her dates didn't work out... I don't know what it was. But when I auditioned, I thought they must be looking for a big superstar and I was just an outsider, (I thought) I was not going to get this role. But yay! I auditioned, it was fine. I don't think Zoya Akhtar would want me. All I know is that Zoya was asking, 'Who is this girl? I don't know this girl. She is great, I want her'.

Hema Malini has opened up on her acting comeback. She told Times Now, “Somebody should come and sign me up with a good role. It should be appropriate for my age. It can be glamorous but befitting my age.” She added, “I do not want to do a negative role. I am not a negative person at all. I cannot think of myself like that. I do not think bad for anybody so how can I do a negative role. I mean, role toh kar sakte hai kuch bhi, but wesa role nahin karna (I can do any kind of role, but I do not like doing those kinds of roles). The role has to be positive and should have a positive message.”
