Dharmesh
Darshan's
Shocking
Revelation
Against
Karisma
Kapoor:
A
revelation
that
has
sent
shockwaves,
director
Dharmesh
Darshan
recently
recalled
an
incident
involving
Bollywood
actress
Karisma
Kapoor
during
the
shooting
of
the
hit
1996
romantic
film
Raja
Hindustani.
The
director
of
the
film
Raja
Hindustani
in
his
recent
interview
with
Lehen
Retro
disclosed
that
Karisma
Kapoor
who
is
a
scion
of
the
illustrious
Kapoor
family,
insisted
on
reenacting
a
sequence
where
Aamir
Khan's
character
was
supposed
to
pull
her
hair,
claiming
that
her
grandfather,
the
legendary
Raj
Kapoor,
had
done
the
same
in
real
life.
DHARMESH
DARSHAN
SAYS
KARISMA
KAPOOR
INSISTED
AAMIR
KHAN
PULL
HER
HAIR
IN
RAJA
HINDUSTANI
Dharmesh
Darshan
recalled
the
incident
from
the
song
Tere
Ishq
Mein
Naachenge
in
the
film
where
Aamir
Khan's
character,
under
the
influence
of
alcohol,
was
meant
to
pull
Karisma
Kapoor's
hair.
Dharmesh
revealed
that
Aamir,
however,
suggested
pulling
Karisma
by
her
arm.
Director
Dharmesh
initially
agreed,
believing
that
they
were
perhaps
overstepping
a
boundary.
But,
it
was
Karisma
Kapoor
who
took
the
initiative
to
insist
that
Aamir
Khan
should
pull
her
hair.
He
said,
"She
took
me
to
a
corner.
She
requested
we
do
it.
She
said,
'I've
seen
my
grandfather
do
it
sometimes.
Forget
his
films.
In
real
life.'
When
she
told
me
that,
I
went
to
Aamir
and
said,
'No
one
take
this,
one
take
that.
Just
straight
up
pull
her
hair'."
As
per
the
director,
while
Aamir
thought
from
his
mind,
Karisma
was
driven
by
emotion.
Dharmesh
Darshan
also
revealed
that
Karisma
Kapoor
was
completely
comfortable
with
the
much-talked-about,
lengthy
kissing
scene
with
Aamir
Khan
in
the
film.
She
only
requested
the
director
to
narrate
the
sequence
to
her
mother,
Babita,
who
was
invited
to
observe
the
three-day
shoot.
