Deets Inside: Swara Bhaskar & Fahad Ahmad Opt For An Intimate Wedding Ceremony At Actress’s Nana-Nani’s House

Swara Bhaskar's Wedding: After a court marriage, Bollywood actress Swara Bhaskar is all set to tie the knot with social-activist Fahad Ahmed in a traditional wedding ceremony. The actress's court marriage pictures that she shared on February 16 came as a surprise to her fans and followers. The court marriage, however, was reportedly registered on January 6 under the Special Marriage Act. Along with the pictures, the actress had also revealed that she will soon prep for a 'Shehnai Wala Shaadi'.

And now, it seems that the D-day is just around the corner. According to a report in Hindustan Times, the wedding festivities are scheduled for next week. Ditching the opulent destination wedding tradition, Swara and Fahad will tie the knot at the actress's Nana-Nani's house in Delhi. The wedding festivities including Haldi, Mehendi and Sangeet are scheduled between March 11 to March 16.

The actress who was in Chhattisgarh shooting for her upcoming project, Mrs Falani has reportedly wrapped up her shoot and reached Delhi for the last minute preparations.

Swara Bhaskar's Traditional Wedding Ceremony Details

A source close to the family was quoted as saying to the leading website, "Swara is giving the destination wedding a miss and instead opting for an intimate and emotional wedding at her nana and nani's house in Delhi. The preparations have already started and she is detailing all the rituals. She has been planning them to the T. With Holi and her wedding ceremonies lined up one after the other, there is a lot to celebrate."

Swara Bhaskar's Beautiful Wedding Invite

Taking to Instagram stories, Swara Bhaskar gave us a glimpse into her beautiful wedding invite. The colorful wedding card reads, "join us and share the happiness we celebrate, the madness that is 'us' this Basant." As mentioned on the card the Haldi and Sangeet ceremony will take place on March 11.

The earlier pictures from the court marriage registration showed Swara Bhaskar gracefully draped in her mother's red saree which she again teamed with her mother's jewelry. Sharing the happiness on social media, she wrote, "So blessed to be supported and cheered by the love of family and friends like family!
