After
the
super
success
of
the
Baahubali
franchise,
many
South
films
especially
Telugu
films
are
being
dubbed
and
getting
a
pan-India
release.
One
of
the
biggest
surprises
that
the
Indian
film
industry
got
was
in
2021,
when
Allu
Arjun
starrer
Pushpa:
The
Rise
-
Part
1
did
exceptionally
well
at
the
box
office
in
the
Hindi
belt.
While
it
was
expected
that
the
movie
will
work
down
South
Allu
Arjun
is
a
big
name
there,
the
collection
of
Hindi
version
shocked
everyone
as
it
went
on
to
mint
Rs.
108.26
crore
at
the
box
office.
The
year
2024
has
not
been
a
great
year
for
Bollywood.
It
started
on
a
dull
note
with
Katrina
Kaif
and
Vijay
Sethupathi
starrer
Merry
Christmas,
and
now,
Fighter
has
also
failed
to
make
a
mark
at
the
box
office.
However,
a
small
Telugu
film
titled
Hanuman
was
dubbed
and
released
with
Merry
Christmas
and
it
is
still
doing
quite
well
at
the
box
office.
The
Hindi
dubbed
version
of
Hanuman
has
till
now
collected
Rs.
46.87
crore.
Why
South
Films
Are
Doing
Well
In
Hindi
Market?
FIlmibeat
recently
interacted
with
trade
analyst
Komal
Nahta
and
asked
him
why
Hanuman
has
done
well
at
the
box
office
despite
not
having
any
star
or
a
big
director's
name
attached
to
it.
He
told
us,
"Give
anything
good
to
the
audience
that
will
attract
them.
Hanuman
is
a
very
good
film
and
it's
a
mass
appealing
film.
If
you
see,
we
are
going
back
in
the
old
times
when
there
used
to
be
whistles
and
claps
on
mythological
and
miracle
scenes.
I
liked
Hanuman
a
lot
and
I
actually
clapped
during
the
press
show.
So,
it
deserves
this
success
and
as
I
said
genre,
cast,
director,
these
things
doesn't
matter,
what
matters
is
entertainment."
"Today,
everyone
says
Allu
Arjun's
Pushpa.
When
that
film
had
released
two
years
ago,
Hindi
audience
didn't
know
who
Allu
Arjun
is.
But
that
movie
broke
such
records,
and
the
music
did
so
well
that
today
also
audience
does
his
acting
and
dances
to
the
songs
of
the
film.
So,
I
feel
content
is
king;
stars
and
other
things
are
important,
but
nothing
is
important
than
a
content.
Hanuman
is
a
small
film,
but
the
content
is
so
good
that
it
had
to
work," he
added.
Well
now,
everyone
is
keen
to
watch
Pushpa
2:
The
Rule
which
is
slated
to
release
on
15th
August
2024.
