After
the
failure
of
Do
Knot
Disturb,
director
David
Dhawan
is
back
with
his
latest
movie
Rascals,
which
features
Sanjay
Dutt,
Ajay
Devgn,
Arjun
Rampal
in
the
leads.
Before
its
release,
the
promos
of
the
movie
had
created
lots
of
expectations
among
the
movie
buffs
and
the
movie
really
lives
up
to
them.
It
is
surely
a
fun-fest.
Rascals
is
a
hilarious
comic
entertainer,
which
has
all
relish
masala
elements.
The
electrifying
chemistry
between
Sanjay
Dutt
and
Ajay
Devgn
is
the
major
attraction
of
the
film.
The
storyline
is
non-existent,
which
may
not
impress
the
viewers,
who
like
realistic
and
meaningful
films.
The
movie
is
about
two
conmen,
who
try
to
pull
each
others'
legs
with
their
hilarious
gimmicks.
David
Dhawan
has
wonderful
command
over
the
tempo
of
the
movie.
The
first
half
of
the
film
is
interesting
with
its
lively
moments
and
the
second
half
tests
the
patience
of
the
movie
buffs
as
some
unnecessary
sequences
drag
it.
But
the
film
is
back
on
track
in
the
climax.
Chetan
(Sanjay
Dutt)
and
Bhagat
(Ajay
Devgn)
are
two
conmen,
who
are
trying
to
out-scheme
each
other
in
consistently
amusing
and
surprising
setups.
They
get
into
an
one-upmanship
game
to
win
the
girl
(Kangana
Ranaut),
who
is
rich
both
financially
and
physically.
Who
wins
her
heart
will
form
the
climax
of
the
film.
Sanjay
Dutt
and
Ajay
Devgn
have
together
delivered
excellent
acting
and
the
chemistry
between
the
two
is
simply
superb.
They
successfully
tickle
the
funny
bones
of
the
viewers.
Arjun
Rampal
also
adds
to
the
comic
portions
of
the
film.
Kangna
Ranaut
carries
off
her
part
with
effortless
ease.
Lisa
Haydon,
Chunkey
Pandey,
Satish
Kaushik,
Hiten
Paintal
and
others
have
acted
reasonably
well.
Vishal-Shekhar
composed
music
is
also
good
and
songs
like
'Tik
Tuk',
'Gaye
Guzre'
and
'Shake
It
Saiyaan'
are
good
to
listen.
Writer
Yunus
Sajawal's
screenplay
keeps
you
completely
involved,
while
Sanjay
Chhel's
witty
one-liners
will
draw
a
lot
of
whistles
and
claps
from
the
viewers.
Overall,
it
can
be
said
that
David
Dhawan
unleashes
the
two
senior
rascals
and
let
them
have
a
blast.
The
movie
is
strictly
recommended
to
comedy
lovers.
