A third in the franchise that began with 2003 movie Koi... Mil Gaya, Krrish 3 will take forward the story of the superhero Krrish, played by Hrithik Roshan. Like its prequels, Krrish 3 once again takes us into the world of masked fantasy, where the stakes are incredibly high, and this time our superhero Krrish faces the challenge of saving the world from the clutches of the villain Kaal (Vivek Oberoi).
There's no doubt about the fact that Krrish 3 manages to match up to the scale of Hollywood films, but plot wise it has nothing much to offer you. Moreover, the story gets lost at times, considering the fact that there are too many unnecessary song sequences to kill it.
After defeating the villainous Dr Siddhant Arya, and bringing his father Rohit back from the dead, Krrish continued fighting against evil and saving innocent lives. Now Krishna is living a happily married life with Priya, while Rohit is using his scientific brilliance to benefit society. And Krrish is everyone's favorite superhero saviour.
Unknown to them, a dark force is growing in another part of the world. Kaal, an evil genius, is selfishly misusing his powers to spread fear, death and destruction. And he is being assisted by an army of very dangerous beings, which he has created himself.
Hrithik Roshan's Performance
Hrithik Roshan slips into the suit of superhero perfectly and his sincerity diverts one's attention from the minor flaws of the movie. He's the soul of the movie and kids will continue to love him.
PC And Kangna's Performances
Priyanka Chopra has nothing much to do in the film. She's more like a plastic doll, and makes it a point to paint her face with heavy make-up in every scene. Kangna Ranaut is actually the one, who adds upto the hotness factor here. She not only proves worthy while playing a vamp, Kangs looks strikingly sexy as the wicked slimy chameleon Kaya.
Vivek Oberoi's Act
Vivek Oberoi as the baddie Kaal is remarkable. He not only looks scary and ruthless, Oberoi delivers an effortless performance.
Powered with a spectacular range of special effects, the extravagant action and stunts is what has stood out in the film. The human angle in the film is another welcome change for superhero films.
Krrish 3 is a treat for the kids, but fails to woo the adults. It would be wrong to say that the film doesn't have a good script, but unfortunately, most of scenes are not intriguing enough. Moreover, one can easily guess where the story is heading towards, since Krrish 3 is very much predictable.
Krrish 3 looks a little bit like Man Of Steel, The Matrix, Transformers, Iron Man, and the X-Men all wrapped up into one.
Krrish 3 Verdict
On the whole, Krrish 3 is neither an award-winning material, nor the best work of Rakesh Roshan. But, it is Hrithik Roshan who makes the film one-time watchable for sure.
